Pendant une première tentative d'atterrissage lors d'un orage, le train d'atterrissage principal a touché le sol avant que l'avion remonte. Après une deuxième tentative réussie, l'équipage demanda une vérification du train. Malgré qu'il semble en bon état, les autorités du Cameroun retinrent l'avion un certain temps au sol.

The captain decided to go around again on final approach in a rainstorm, and the main gear touched the runway before the aircraft climbed away. After a successful second attempt to land the captain called for an inspection of the landing gear and the airline's ground cleared it. Cameroon autorities, however, held the aircraft for some time before it was allowed to depart.
