Fondée en 1969 sous le nom de Genral Aviation Services. Il acquit le nom d' Air Atlantique en 1975. A partir de mars 1998, elle opéra sous le nom d' Atlantic Airlines.

Fusionna avec West Air Europe pour former West Atlantic en 2008.
